Generally, the subject of compensation seems to be taboo in this country. This seems to me, at least, to benefit employers rather more than employees. I’m going to break that taboo in this post; obviously you should not read it if you think you might be offended. …so I may as well join in, and post an opinion of the iPad before I’ve seen or touched it. As I wrote in a previous post, I have been trying to experimentally determine the control commands you can use with a violet mir:ror. As you may have seen on various news sites, the UK is covered in snow at the moment and we aren’t coping well as a civilisation. I usually leave my work computer in the office unless I am planning to work from home the following day, and since the weather forecast on Tuesday was [...] It’s been an eventful start to 2010. On returning to work, I discovered via a link to a news story in the local paper from the site homepage that my MP has asked the government to boycott the company I work for, IBM UK, because of the changes it is making to its final [...] I have updated the GetGravatar Plug-In for OS X Address-Book that I wrote. The new version is here. If you had installed the old one, you need to shut down Address Book before installing the new one. As you will have noticed if you live in Hampshire, it’s been snowing and icy for the last week. Local traffic has not coped well. |
