I am wondering if pairs of “some say…” “facts” as applied to the Stig can be applied to other people/things to enhance them in some way. Here are a few ideas:
Some say that they have very sensible policies; and that a vote for them isn’t wasted. All we know is they’re called the Liberal Democrats!
Some say that it’s totally invisible; and that it’s warming our planet. All we know is that it’s called carbon dioxide.
Some say that it’s under the cat; or that its batteries are shot anyway. All we know is that it’s called the TV remote.
